The norm since the CON's came to power is spin based around lies of accountability, fairness and openess. There is no LOW, low enough that these rotten jerks can not attain. I am so disappointed in Canada that Canadians allow this kind of low life to run the country. Pity eh!Bruce Bensonnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7141615629701321642.post-65893339610942402362011-03-08T14:09:23.865-05:002011-03-08T14:09:23.865-05:00The Conservatives seem to have a history of cancel...The Conservatives seem to have a history of cancelling projects that are beneficial to Canada. For instance, the Avro Arrow CF-105 supersonic jet plane was cancelled by John Diefenbaker in 1959. It was leading the world in supersonic jet fighter designs at the time. Canada lost some of its best engineers, technicians, and designers to the U.S.A. and other nations. What a waste of talent. I have a question about Jack Mintz, now living on the rangeland of the Academically Blessed and Gifted.

You say "Even Prof. Jack Mintz, whose grossly inflated estimates of tax revenue losses were often cited by the Minister, said the omission was simply wrong."

About the same time (Dec/06) as Mintz was saying the omission was wrong, he published an article in the Canadian Tax Foundation which in essence reduplicated and added to his flawed study of Sept 2005 for the Dept of Finance. Did Mintz want to have it both ways? Or is he the world's first post-modern finance expert?

KLAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
