Rob Ford for Mayor?

Apparently Rob Ford isn’t without his supporters.

Jim Flaherty for example.

Apparently Jim Flaherty thinks Toronto needs a wife-beating racist drunk for Mayor. Who else would have posted these signs on University Avenue, if not Rob Ford's supporters?

What did you think of Lawrence Martin (non)addressing the income trust issue?

What did I think? Pretty pathetic and par for the course for the Globe and Mail.

I think Lawrence Martin revealed FAR MORE in his book about Harper's income trust fraud than his employer would have liked, so during his on line chat today on the Globe and Mail website Lawrence Martin reverted to repetition about tax leakage and failed to mention this canard of an argument to be the patent falsehood that Lawrence Martin knows it to be after the research he conducted for his book and the lengthy dialogue he had with Professor William Stanbury who gave Martin the real goods about the tax leakage LIE.

So the leading choices are between a wife beating red neck or a ill-informed policy wonk who sold out Ontario to uber expensive "green power" exploiters?

A very bad choice either way. Who's running in third?

I wonder what happens when Rob Ford becomes Mayor & then does the opposite of what he promised.

That was what Jim Flaherty did when elected , so I would assume that Jim would only support a like-minded candidate.

There's one important epithet missing from that sign - homophobe.

The mere fact that this bully is a serious contender for mayor speaks volumes about people of this city. I am appalled and ashamed of my own neighbors.
