When will Canadians get to see Flaherty's uncensored tax leakage documents?

Flaherty refused to release his tax leakage calculations citing “National Security”. Tax leakage being the main (yet unproven) rationale for Flaherty's tax leakage.

National Security? Puhlease! Have you ever heard anything more ridiculous?

Why are the Liberals, NDP, and Bloc not demanding their release?

Are the rights of Afghan detainees more important than the life savings of 2.5 million Canadians. Most of them seniors and many of whom lost their homes?

I repeat, lost their homes.

O'Malley of Macleans reports: The House of Commons has passed a Liberal motion calling for the government to hand over uncensored documents to the Afghanistan committee, in a narrow 145-143 vote after a lengthy and at times heated debate.

It's so far beyond ridiculous that it defies expression. Meanwhile you have Harpercite lapdogs like Lawrence Martin in the Glob endorsing Harper's style of government, what we deserve a dictator!?

Lawrence Martin: What a fool! I think he pulled the trigger on that lap day story a day too early. Sycophant idiot:

Stephen Harper's 'salad days' are done

EKOS’s new poll is showing the Conservatives are nowhere near forming a majority government. The allegations of torture of Afghan detainees and charges that the government covered it up are hurting them, especially in Quebec and British Columbia.

In fact, pollster Frank Graves separated out the vote intention number on the very last night of tracking, which was earlier this week. He found that at that point Stephen Harper's Tories were down to 33 per cent of support.

His poll shows that overall – when all of the night-tracking numbers were put together – the federal vote intention for the Tories was 35.6 per cent. The poll was conducted between November 25 and December 8.

“This is the lowest they have been in a couple of months,” Mr. Graves says. “They hit their high-water mark back in September. They were in clear majority territory, around 42 points. Thirty-five? The bullet is going downwards not upwards now. They are certainly not plummeting and they are still in good shape but it’s not the salad days of two months ago.”

You hit the nail on the head here when you said that Afghan detainees are more important than millions of Canadian investors.

It is horrible that people were tortured in Afghanistan alright.

Trust investors were the victims of torture as well when our hearts were ripped from our chests when Jim Flaherty chopped 20-40% of our life savings from bank accounts within days of his Halloween announcement.

This psychological terrorism is as horrible to us as any physical attack.

This gov`t did not care.

This gov`t flowered-up this decision to make us look like the villains here---make it look like we were somehow stealing the food out of the mouths of every Canadian living.

It is nearly impossible to express the terror I felt that night & every night since.

These people should be ashamed of themselves.

I am surprised they can sleep at night.
