This is exactly what this whole exercise by the Cons should come down to---has this tax gotten rid of the so-called "tax leakage" or is this tax the source.
If it has worked then Jim is a saint.
If this is costing us , then Jim must be fired.
No more rewards for incompetence--show him the door.

Thank you very much for bringing this fraud into the limelight. As a Canadian of limited means i expect nothing less then an inquiry into this unlawful and deceitful action perpetrated by high powered Canadian corporations and the ceo,s who run them.
This is a criminal act of the highest proportions and until justice is served my once proud distinction of being Canadian is in question. It has been shown without a doubt that instead of the alleged $500 million lost to Revenue Canada in taxation, the opposite is the case. Revenue Canada will lose $ 7 1/2 billion in tax revenue because of this income trust tax.
As government revenues tank, you can bet your bottom dollar that their hands will reach deeper into Canadian taxpayers pockets.

At least someone from the Liberal Party is asking these questions. Someone needs to take on Sheila Fraser. Maybe it is best if it is another woman. Thank you Mr. Ratansi for your efforts.
