Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff calls for a new politics

Yes. Meanwhile we call upon the Liberal Party for the politics of Barack Obama, who says he wants to be known as the Empirical President, which means he will base all his decisions on the known facts and not dogma ulterior motives and hidden agendae. This is why Michael Ignatieff must uncover Harper’s fraud of tax leakage......NOW.

VANCOUVER – Calling for a new politics, Michael Ignatieff reached out to Canadians with his vision for the future of the country as Liberal delegates voted 97 percent in favour of confirming him as Liberal Leader.
He spoke directly to Stephen Harper, condemning him for failing to unite Canadians by setting province against province, group against group, region against region, individual against individual.

That’s correct. Stephen Harper and Jim Flaherty picked sides on income trusts, even though income trusts versus corporations have NO IMPACT whatsoever on the government’s taxes, excpet however when all these devalued trusts are taken over by foreigners.

First Harper sided with Canadians bu saying he would never tax income trusts. That probably garnered him 500,000 votes in the 2006 election
Then when in power, Harper sided with the CEO’s (ie paid managers of public companies owned by shareholder) to do an end run around their owners.

This was a case of Harper pitting paid managers against average Canadian investors and allowing the CEOs to win. When will Michael Igantieff expose Harper’s lie about tax leakage, otherwise this fraud will simply be allowed to perpetuate, and the following sabotage by paid managers of public companies will be allowed to perpetuate:

“High-profile directors and CEOs, meanwhile, had approached Mr. Flaherty personally to express their concerns: Many felt they were being pressed into trusts because of their duty to maximize shareholder value, despite their misgivings about the structure. Paul Desmarais Jr., the well-connected chairman of Power Corp. of Canada, even railed against trusts in a conversation with Prime Minister Stephen Harper during a trip to Mexico” Globe November 2, 2009

The implementation of the trust tax legislation was an act against all Canadians & not just a willful act to destroy the buying power of Canadian investors , which surely it did.

It is incumbent upon the Liberal`s new leader Michael Ignatieff to expose the fraud & right an egregious wrong as he certainly will be this country`s next Prime Minister.

It will be his responsibility to ensure services to the people & to do that he will need a strong tax base--the repealing of the trust legislation will ensure dollars in the pockets of the spending public , enhanced buying power & an improved tax base.

Mr Harper & Mr Flaherty attempted to destroy the trust sector of the capital markets & with this destruction has come nothing but pain for the small investor & decreased gov`t tax takes which would eventually result in decreased services.

Mr Ignatieff , there is no time like the present to act.

We are counting on you.
