You may wish to post comments on the article. It seems like some people have a hard time accepting that they’ve been lied to by Harper and the main stream media like the Globe and Mail, Here was my comment at: Wnnipeg Sun

Who is this guy? This guy (me) is the President & CEO of the Canadian Association of Income Trust Investors (www.caiti,info). Harper's allegations of tax leakage are a fraud and a a fabricated argument. Don't take my word for it, just ask Jack MIntz who wrote to me on 11/28/06 admitting that: "I do want to point out that there is a serious flaw in some analyses especially on the taxation of pension and RRSP accounts. Finance was not right to treat the impact as zero". This is the error that Harper/Flaherty have made. Their bogus tax leakage argument is derived by leaving out ALL the taxes paid on the 38% of trusts held in RRSPs. I didn't need Jack Mintz to tell me what I already knew, as tax leakage was disproved during the Goodale round.
